Legislative Advocacy

The Quarter Horse Racing Association of Louisiana (QHRAL) is deeply committed to advocating for the interests of the quarter horse racing industry at the highest levels of state government. With a dedicated, full-time lobbyist stationed at the Louisiana State Capitol, QHRAL plays an active role in shaping policies that impact our members and the broader industry.

 

Our Role
QHRAL monitors and engages in legislative and regulatory processes that affect quarter horse racing in Louisiana. We work closely with lawmakers, state agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure that the voices of our members are heard and that their interests are protected. Whether it’s advocating for fair regulations, securing funding for industry initiatives, or defending against harmful legislation, QHRAL is always at the forefront of the conversation.
